How do these things work?? If she ever released another album she won't make a penny out of it due to her being in debt with Virgin?? Can't they just wipe it off? I mean, it's been 24 years.
She only released 2 studio albums and deals back then were typically for 5 to 7 albums so she essentially broke her contract.
Oh I see now I think I read it wrongThey’d never have given her a 5 to 7 album deal at that stage! She’d have been on a one or two album deal with an option at the end of it.
She, at least, had a lucrative Kwik Save sponsorship deal which more than covered the cost of her heady flops.I dread to think how much Tracy Shaw owes.

From that book about pop music, “Reach for the Stars”, Jamelia said she had amassed a similar debt recording “Walk With Me” which the record company ended up writing off.How do these things work?? It's surprising that after a £9 million they dropped her after ONE flop single. What a terrible strategy. I guess the album also didn't have legs, but still you'd have thought they'd give her another try.
The second album singles are online now, including (one of) the original version of Something Deep Inside
I think that’s the Steel and Holliday mix? There’s one other on YouTube that is similar to this but slightly like the end result we got as well, possibly the one from the Japanese release that was before the UK. I think I prefer that one, but this will do.
I do love the normal/standard version but I think it sounds a bit better without the polishing.
The first album I ever bought with my own pocket money I believePokémon OST

That M2M song should’ve been much bigger. And does feel much bigger than a #16 teen-pop hit from 2000.
Yeah I’ve noticed that, only #3 and #4 were singles (down under anyway)…were they oddly big in another region?
Justice for Everything though. I think Australia was the only place that seemed to do anything.
